inb4 amature story of middie that i just shat out my ass, like he's worth.

xX{Midnight}Xx... a true hero, set out on an adventure to find the best song in the world, but was suddenly thrown into a program known as Stepmania. He didn't know where he was. It was dark, lonely, and there was no sign of life anywhere. After a week in the program, he discovered a path- not just any path you find outside, but a white path with red underneath it. The white on the path turned to letters as he walked near and over it. He couldn't understand it, sadly, as he rushed to the door ahead. A layout with 4 arrows appeared before him, with a line across them. There were more lines ahead of it, making it seem as though it would have a beat. As he walked over the lines, one by one arrows started following his steps, along with music- the song he set out to find a week ago. He tried to run and shake off the arrows in a chase, but they kept appeared behind him. After a few minutes, he reached the end of the road, and a huge amount of arrows were behind him, almost in a pattern. Little did he know, that was the first chart he ever created, although he did not know it yet. He opened a door that was at the end of the road, and he arrived back at the beginning. Only it was different this time. He noticed the arrows in front of his feet, but they were glowing this time, and had a pattern on them that look much like the pattern of the pad on a treadmill. He stepped on the arrow and he started moving unvoluntarily. His favorite song played as he moved, and claps were going along with the arrow placements between and on the lines. He wasn't sure if he should enjoy this or be scared, but he cracked a smile either way. Once the song was finished, he went through the same door he went through before, and it brought him straight to where he first was. He walked around for a few hours to find a door that said "Exit Game" on it. He wondered to himself "Was this all just a game? Is this real, or am I dreaming?" While pondering the questions, he opened the door and arrived back outside. He had arrived back on the path he was on before being dragged into... whatever THAT was. He went back home and onto his computer to do research on if that happened to anyone else or not. Surprisingly, it has. To many many people, too. He found out after a few pages of info that the program he was taken into was known as "Stepmania"- a program not to be messed with. There was a community page he stumbled upon, called "Flash Flash Revolution". He joined the site without question, and quickly started posting what happened to him. The people in the community told him that he was becoming a "Step Artist", and he instantly had a cheerful expression as he replied. After a few months of going in and out of that program, he started having a lot of fun with it, and was starting to get known for his charts known as "simfiles".

So started the long journey, that will once again make xX{Midnight}Xx realize that he has purpose in his life, and to his newfound community.
