I hate to be a party-pooper here, but is the main reason why you all go to the arcade is because it's mainly everyone's interest here? If I went, I'd probably be bored since I have no other interests in rhythm gaming other than FFR x:

I PM'd the Megalith video to Halogen and sent it to his Skype as well, depends which one he sees first

iironiic, I'm basically the same in terms of what games I want to play (FFR/Stepmania). I didn't play pop'n, beatmania, etc. but I did watch other people play. It was mainly a lot of socializing for me and watching ITG players and DDR players along with playing DDR myself (like how I managed to pass Max 300 with 202 greats, that was hilarious).

yeah wilson i'd say it's not my favorite place to spend all day but it was awesome seeing everybody and trying some games. except when some guru at a game was there all day and you've never played and don't want to play in front of him

The main thing that bothered me about 8 on the break was no internet connection.

@awein I definitely agree. I didn't really feel like playing DDR by myself (I did a few times but those sessions weren't as intense, I was playing classics like AM-3P) or ITG without someone else playing. It was definitely fun seeing awein doing pop'n -- he was doing a Mario song and occasionally would mess up really bad and the game made really funny sounds that were way off to the actual song.
