When I clicked that link the thought that it could be a scam crossed my mind too... But it doesn't matter. The response of people to a situation like this is what restores faith in humanity, not whether or not it's real.

I didn't even watch the video, but now it just sounds like a scam. no matter what someone said to me, or how much it got to me in the time of 10mins, it's not worth that much money, or anything really. I'm sure she will have gotten over it in a month max.

It was more than 10 minutes, that particular video is only 10 minutes long though. Perhaps it is something she would've gotten over eventually, but she wasn't the one who posted the video (The original source of the video was apparently taken off one of the kids facebooks and reuploaded). If people want to donate to help her out, its their prerogative, nobody is forcing anyone to donate to help her.

@Username I definitely have not lived a sheltered life, but i can tell you this.. I've never personally seen an elderly person treated in this manner before. While i cant speak for everyone, i just cant see this being called "normal" behavior.

When I was on the bus as a middle-school kid, it was you take shit and you better sit in the front otherwise you're gonna have a bad time.

Kids aren't nice because they don't know bounds well enough to be mature about them. I still think it's an elaborate scam, or lots of people are donating to a bad cause. That money could go to much better use than to make someone feel better for being bullied for 10mins. I know quite a few people who've had it a lot worse off, but because they didn't have a viral video to help them out, they learned to deal with it like most other people.


Honestly why videos like these pop up are beyond me

in her reaction video she even said, "all kids aren't bad." such a true statement, and you're all asking things like, "what's wrong with this generation?" "what's wrong with kids today?".
they're not all bad, stop having such an ignorant opinion.

They literally have no respect for their elders, that's pretty much a golden rule around the world, and I bet most of those kids treat their family the same exact way. I'm sure none of these kids had much discipline at home. If this surfaced when I was younger and I was in the video, I would probably still have blisters to this day from a can of whoop ass opened up on me.

I'm 20 now so I can't hit a minor and legal consequences are more severe, but before I turned 18 I always got in fights sticking up for kids. This reaction and what you are all feeling is what fuels me to become a stronger fighter and stick up for what is right. I suggest doing the same because it feels great

If you argue violence isn't the answer for this you are mostly wrong. These kids don't respect anything but violence and they get all these wrong messages that makes them think they can say these kind of things. If you beat them up you just solved a problem and if you can't see that then I'll fight you too. Just kidding lol but yea I'm going to end the debate if there ever was one and say I have helped a few lives out by using violence as a solution, and I even changed a few people for the better by teaching them their place.
