Great idea, but one concern is that many of these songs have already been nicely restepped. Mellann is already famous for macgravel's file, Go Beyond has at least two good versions (Patashu, Malice), I restepped Car Sax, and iirc Kommisar stepped v2s of Retard Drums/Konamized and restepped Determination a while back.

I dunno what you can do with those files, but maybe it might be a good idea to include those resteps as an auxiliary pack or something? I really have no idea though lol.

Otherwise, this is a really cool idea. I don't think I have time to step anymore, but if anybody backs out, let me know because I might be able to whip something up.

I know, but I was just suggesting what to do with those files. I think it might be nice to still include them (w/o resteps of course), for the sake of completion.

Just have people make easier files for the simfiles that are good enough as they are (This Dying Soul, La valse d'Amelie and so on) as to emulate the lastest styles of simfile creation methods.

tbh playing those files they shouldn't even be touched, just included as they are in the pack for those who haven't had a chance to play them or even forgot about them since this pack was highlighted with more bad than good
