Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
I wasn't expecting this at all... I'm lucky to have stumbled upon this thread on time!
Sent my file, but this begs the question: why aren't you guys using the front page more for events like this one? It will surely go unnoticed. If you want to attract new members, or get 3 submissions per user, why aren't you actually making sure that people are aware of it? I mean, it's a special batch, not an easter egg batch! :P Didn't you make this an easy songs batch because you were short on them in the first place?
Might try, but where can we find it?Last edited by MarioNintendo; 05-25-2011, 06:51 PM.Comment

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
I suggest learning how to use DDReamstudio. (download the thing here: http://www.mediafire.com/?82al94e5ot6sfy2)
It might feel weird when you use it for the first time, and 5 days might be a bit short to learn how to use it properly and squeeze out a nice easy chart (which are hard to make D: ), but Youtube has good tutorials. I highly suggest you use this tool over any other. You can use your mouse, have keyboard shortcuts, see the waveform of the song, etc. I'll never go back to SM, and I bet you won't either.Comment

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
I offered the song to Kayla, who'll likely step it.
Also, I agree about the lack of front page posts...there haven't been any for a while now.
With less than a week remaining, I don't think DDReam is the viable choice for everyone to learn how to efficiently sync a song. (if you want to learn about DDReam, watch who_care's youtube tutorial)
If you can visualize with waveforms well, then go for it.Comment

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
I've been using Virtual DJ 7 pro for a about 2 months now, and because of that using DDream is very effective because I'm quite experienced with looking at waveforms to determine which part(s) are what in the song.
And I think I'm going to submit something to this batch.Comment

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
The reasons we don't post news for this are, first, we don't need that many files for this batch. Second, I want people who are new to this site/rhythm games to understand what are good/fun files, or how to step files before they submit something to FFR.
I'll probably make a news post for new artist special batch though.Comment
