Although people appreciate the effort, I dont really support romanizations and romanji, etc. Its so unefficient, and if you plan on learning the language seriously, this will only hinder you further.

And since we're all using simple foreign language phrases...

Also, I was saying that if you wanted to be formal about it, you'd probably say something like that.

I thought "so shi te" meant "and"

Actually, the meaning is a little heavier than "and". I think it's best used as "and then" or "also". I'm pretty sure that Japanese doesn't really have a sentence conjunction that matches the English "and" exactly.

there's also "kute" for adjective conjunctions
