        just got power this morning...2 days damn it...actually ABC reports that the original theory of a lightning bolt hitting the Falls is flase and that the problem actually started in Michigan...i love this state

                i keep hearing it was just a massive demand for power cause the day the blackout happened it was really hot and humid. and then it was just failure after failure after failure....

                  That also happened in '65. Everone was like: "NEED AIR CONDITIONING!!", and they couldn't keep up, so *POOF!!*. No power.

                  However, I think that this was a SURGE, not a lack of power.
