For me I'd say Chocobo's Dungeon 2. Just because I got lost a lot trying to find the staircase down. The whole leveling, not only chocobo but the spells and finding the feathers was rather annoying as well. Enemies got really hard to. Stuck with Cid for ages. Bosses were completely insane.

That and I wanna be a guy. I don't know if that counts. But my friend showed me that game. Took ages just to beat it on hard. Absolutely insane platformer.

Okay, keeping in mind that I have not read the other pages except page 1 and 7, this may have been said.

ALSO keeping in mind, I was 7 when I played this, my hardest game ever was Roger Rabbit for the NES.

I couldn't figure out how to change punchlines for those stupid crooks. I always died.

Off topic, Spot (NES) was a sweet game.

Starcraft? Missions were terribly easy.

Multiplayer depends on those Use Map Settings maps. Although i found turret defense extremely easy as well. :P

haha for me. Metal Gear Solid 4 = IMPOSSIBLE. Me and a friend tried playing multiplayer. Had to kill 30 guys. Highest amount of kills, 4. Yeah. Not cool.

The Super Monkey Ball games were pretty insane if you tried to beat them 100%.

In fact, unlocking and getting past the Master levels on the original SMB (which required getting through the Expert levels without using a continue) was probably one of the hardest things I've ever experienced in gaming.

how about jet force gemini, or that castlevania remake for psp. also the deception series can be challenging if you are a 1st timer. i currently hate the ps2 contras and under the knife 2 X missions.
