Now I am a computer gamer, I play many, and get this.
Enemy Territory, in my opinion, has the greatest and most entertaining objective series in any game I have ever played. Ever.
I swear, just think of all of the fun times you've had advancing the tank in Goldrush, sneaking in with a covert ops and an engineer in that snow place, and bombing the two railguns in that desert place. It is amazing.
Not to mention you can download some high-quality player made maps right from in game.
But if you don't like working as a team to get objectives done and would rather just play deathmatch or team deathmatch, play another game. This game isn't for you. This game is, however, unique and entertaining in objectives. I could play a 6 map objective set all day.
Don't get me wrong, there ARE deathmatch, last man standing, etc. servers, there just aren't that many.
EDIT: Would someone play a game with me sometime? My teammates are annoying noobs that can't do anything right most of the time, and I don't like being the engineer and having to do EVERYTHING all of the time. They're fun sometimes, but if you do it for like 10 maps in a row in a 6 map rotation, it really bores you. But the thing is, if you don't, the noobs never repair the tank or plant the dynamite. I'll be a covert ops and we should arrange someone else to be the engineer. We'll win maps in like two minutes, rofl.
