I think a lot of people already agreed some time ago that they just wanted to swap to v1, v2, etc. to denote separation between the same songs.
It's more vague if you strip [Cut] and [Full Version] altogether but if people want v1, v2, etc. for those as well it can be done.

So, people for some time have wanted to do away with the difficulty tags [Heavy], [Oni], etc. as well as the [Cut] and [Full Version] tags in-favor of v1, v2, v3, etc.
This is that update. So with that in-mind, a few discrepancies/exceptions to keep everything tidy:
- Songs that are in-parts like "The Games We Played [Full Edition]" Will lose their [Full Edition] tag, and be just stated as-is. "[Part 1], [Part 2], etc." tags will stay, to keep the full version disambiguated from the parts.
- Songs where the tag IS DIRECTLY IN THE TITLE will not be changed. For example, "Giselle (full act)" will remain as-is, included with its partner song "Giselle", since that is the literal song name and release of the full version, as-shown at
https://soundcloud.com/sobrem/giselle-full
Credits [Standard] and Credits [Heavy] will get their separate versions, but not Credits EX under this same rule.

I am implementing a "100-song release gap rule", where if a song has more than 1 version, are released within 100 songs of each other (in-terms of song ID's in the database), and those versions are DONE BY THE SAME STEPAUTHOR, then I will allow you to plead your case to swap versions ON YOUR SUBMISSIONS ONLY. It is up to the Stepauthor to prove that songs were submitted somewhere around the same time / released close enough together to warrant that versions are interchangeable. (bmah I'm looking at you).
- Original releases (or first releases of the song) will not have a "v1". v2, v3, v4 etc. will be present in the song title. v0's will remain as v0's. v2, v3, etc. will be ordered by order of seniority of release into the game.
- All songs with "Cut", "Full", "Long", "Short", and any of the difficulty tags are affected unless a rule in the above prevents it from being done.
That being said, here's the list of affected changes:
If I missed any, or wish to plead your case for your particular songs to have versions swapped, please post here / let me know.
