A collective "phew" went up from the back room crowd, until Rudy Gay noticed something odd.

Sene was nowhere in sight.

"Has he even been here at all? I don't remember noticing him or him saying anything," Rodney Carney said.

Wow.

I didn't even realize day's end was so close at hand. I suppose Guido is an ok lynch though. He'd have had to have gone at some point before endgame I suppose. And the only real reason to not lynch him immediately is that it would be a wasted day if everyone just went "ok let's lynch guido today and talk about nothing lol."

Oh, and if ap dies tomorrow, every person who does not vote to guard ap tonight is seriously going to get torn up post game. Once more, reverse psych can't be risked in this instance. Don't try to out-think the wolves. Just guard ap.

The respite shown by Atlanta was brief. As Minnesota's time neared its finish, Stern once more appeared from behind the curtain.

"There has been a trade."

Part of the audience started laughing. Stern noticed this. "Yeah, it's been really ridiculous, hasn't it? Anyway, the Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to send Rashad McCants and the right to their first round draft pick to the New York Knicks in exchange for Steve Francis."

This brought up a chorus of cheers. Francis was gone! Now if only the front office could get rid of Marbury somehow...

"With the sixth pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, the New York Knicks select Rodney Carney, forward, University of Memphis."

This met with some boos, butt the general air was one of indifference, since the crappy draft pick was playing second fiddle to Stevie Franchise's departure.

In the back room, Carney shruged his shoulders, sighed, and walked out toward his undesirable fate.
