Confident in my defense? Yes. Decisive attacking? I didn't attack anyone in the thread at all. I haven't even voted yet. The only attack I remember making was against you yesterday, over AIM. In fact, it's probably a good idea to get this out now, just so we can shed a little bit of light on what's really going on with the early voting.

I wasn't going to say anything at first about his vote, because I was pretty sure he was joking; I mean, it's damn stupid to just come out of nowhere and vote in your first post with absolutely no reason. But after Afrobean posted, I was really wondering what was going on. I mean, I don't mean to accuse either of them, but something is definitely fishy about this whole thing.

Oh, and I suppose I didn't get right down to the point in my defense of iggy's plan, but he wrapped it up pretty well: putting the possibilities together in the different scenarios, weighing the risks, etc., brings the collective perecentage of the wolves screwing up his plan to single digits, maybe zero. But, now that we've run through it, we might be at a disadvantage to try it now. The circumstances have changed a bit because we're being overly cautious.

iggy was right. We need to try something to pull through this game. Analyzing posts and getting lucky is not going to do it for us. We have four wolves. If the Wolf Shaman isn't offed, the seer will be lucky to live past Day 5. We have to do what we can, now, or we will fall flat on our faces. Now, becuase iggy's plan gets more and more risky with every passing moment, I don't know what the hell we can do anymore.

The worst part is the activity right now. It is atrocious. Who hasn't posted yet?

I don't know why fish isn't around. But, his last activity is around 10:02 PM CDT on Wednesday, so he can't be accused of avoiding TWG. randumb's last activity is today at 11:41 AM CDT, observer's is 1:12 AM CDT today; minineo's is also in the 1 AM hour today. Note that although Minineo has posted, his post had no substance whatsoever. In fact, I'm sick of him signing up and not playing. I don't know about randumb and observer, though. randumb has only played one TWG game, and I don't remember observer at all. Still, that's no excuse for not making a presence.

I'm leaving to watch our World Champion Chicago White Sox take on last year's NLCS Champions, the Astros, tonight at U.S. Cellular Field. I will not be around for the day's end. As such, I will make my vote before I leave, but I'd like to see a few more comments before I try to place a solid vote.

Anyway, the IM conversation just confuses me. The only conclusion that I can get from it and be almost 100% positive of is that if blah is a wolf, then nforcer isn't, and vice-versa. However, it is possible that Afro is a wolf.

Observer and randumb mainly play in jTWGs. I saw that they were viewing this thread yesterday around 9:00 PM EDT, although I do not remember for sure. It seems strange that fish hasn't been on the forums since Wednesday, an hour after the kill was announced. He was probably checking who got killed to make sure it wasn't him, although he could be a wolf making sure that the other wolves got the kill sent in. If he hasn't been on AIM lately, that could mean that he's trying to dodge getting revealed as a wolf. Either that or he's busy.

I'm going to change my vote (again) to blah because of the IM log.

I'm torn between chardish, FFR4 and Fish. My opinion of chardish hasn't changed much since he hasn't posted since I did. FFR4...well, I think it's fairly obvious. The most recent vote change didn't help change my opinion either. As for Fish, his complete abscence is very uncharacteristic. He's sufficiently enthusiastic for and loyal to the game that if he lost internet access at home for whatever reason he would find a way to let us know.

I'm willing to give blah the benefit of the doubt for now. He's just dicking around, and I doubt he would want to attract the kind of attention he is as a wolf. Then again, he might be "cashing in on his reputation" again, but I really don't think so.

At the same time, I don't think too badly of nforcer either. It just seems to me like he thinks he's found something and now he wants to run with it because it's Day 1 and anything is better than nothing. Can't blame him, really.

Not doomed, but it is very ineffective to just do nothing this game as humans.

CHARDISH: Everytime we play in a game we have opposite views on matters, the points he makes are good, they aren't low-chance random events that would never happen. I'm just considering his reasonings legit rather than a wolf trying to throw doubt into a solid plan.

NFORCER: Didn't like my first plan but has supported my second plan after I explained it to him. Don't know what that means but I'll accept it for now.

AFRO and BLAH: random votes for discussion? works for me, at least people are talking IMO.

FFR: soooo wishy washy and just attaches himself to whoever is on the chopping block at the moment of the last post. I want to say that if he was a wolf his wolf friends would shut him up, but I've never thought that that was a correct line of logic.

DDR: As far as inactivity, ddr told me that he is always inactive day1 but tries to post towards the end. Here's my convo if you like a reference:

Also of note is the fact that he agreed with chardish's counter arguement to my plan, but ddr had no idea of what my plan was. I dunno I just thought it was dumb.

ddr : inactive, not helping, only wants to be active towards the end of the game (very annoying imo). I can't say for sure that these are the traits of a wolf, but I hate people that sit around and do nothing on purpose, forcing others to carry their load and do the work for them. Yes I guess there are others that fall into this category, but I'm going with ddr for today.

I really haven't been focusing on who's the wolfiest player. Never was good at picking them out. But I have been trying to find other strategies but nothing is as good as what I have. Since we STILL have players who haven't posted, I say don't go with the plan.

However I do think that if we started voting for people who didn't post then we would hear from them XD.

Well guys, here's the thing, if the key people were thinking about doing this plan of mine, you had better do it today, and within the next few hours. Dont do it at the end of day, that would be stupid.

If you don't do it today, the risk of a fake coming out tomorrow is very hish becuase it's very possible that the wolves have a blue in sights for tonight's kill.

Three people haven't posted yet. Anybody here could be the seered, and it's still possible that the seer has not contacted him ( or Jurs =) ) yet. We likely won't see any execution of the plan today, if at all.

I'm heading out very soon for the game, and I don't think I can find any more solid a vote. Nobody really jumps out at me any more than anybody else. My vote will rest on Minineo for the day. Good luck with the rest of the voting, guys.

I'm going to put it on ddr because of that whole "I don't post on day 1 and only at the end" bull****. If you're not going to be of any help, then don't play at all. You're just a nuisance. No, I'm doing it because TWG is a game where you have to contribute. You can't just sit back, say "Oh, that's a good idea" or "Oh, he looks like a wolf," and not say anything. You have to be involved. When you do that, you're only hurting us. So, I'm hoping that the vote will get you to be a bit more involved, and actually try to help, or agree or disagree with ideas, even if you don't have any new ideas of your own. It seems to be working so far.

Oh, it really doesn't hurt if you're a wolf, either, because you fly way under the radar in every single game, simply because of your inactive behavior.

My personal opinion is that people who don't post should be on the chopping block. This will get wolves posting and therefore more chances to slip up. If they know that they can sit back and not do anything and watch the most active people rip themselves apart, then why not do it? (I mean that's what happened last game wasn't it.... flawless victory wasn't it???)

So yea, I won't lie, I think chardish is a wolf.... he's the one that threw public doubt on my plan that I believe will stop it from taking place, but just because he's active doesn't make him a wolf. Especially when you don't know how everyone is reacting to everyone else. Finding out who works with who and who hates who is very key IMO to discerning who everyone is.

However, as long as he posts, I may just leave him alone JUST because he's contributing to the thread.

Plus there has been this false idea that the biggest talker always is a wolf.... which, IMO, makes people not post what they think because they feel they will die. And that type of logic is good, no matter what role you are XD. So let's fix it and make those who "don't care," start caring!
