when the heck did Vetex Beta become "very challenging" idk i thought that this was BS (bologna sandwich ). That song is totally for master only...well I guess the "master only" and "gurus only" are just ridiculous songs that only jeesus fingers could pass.

It's fast but it's a very simple steamy song. One of the harder Very Challenging songs but not FMO. Try switching to spread, will increase your speed by a LOT.

Its just because its simple streams. Streams like that have no FMO material in it. Now if it had some jumps in those streams, sure it would be FMO. But its just gonna be a streamy VC like Blue Army.

I still think of it as an FMO, it challenges me way more than any other VC. I guess its a matter of opinion.

I know what AV misses are...I got 7 goods on Vertex Beta when there were AV misses a year ago.

im not boasting, so your sarcasm wasn't necessary. I was merely saying that the person I quoted said, "av misses (a glitch in the game)," and they didn't need to say that. If you would just look at my join date which was more than 3 years ago, it would be safe to assume that I would know what av misses are.

EDIT: I'm referring to frozen's post (post #10).

I just don't understand how can you think you need godly skills to pass FMO and FGO when you can do this good at a VC... It's near AAA so I don't see how you couldn't pass harder songs... And you don't need jesus fingers... Lots of people out there can AAA them.

Sorry I failed to mention that I have taken a huge break, I used to be good but now I am trying to get some sort of skill back. But songs like crowd pleaser will never work for me (i am an index player)

crowdpleaser is very indexable; the jumps aren't that fast, the only hard part is that trill in the middle, which index can help with

now demon fire, that's less indexable

The big 32nd burst near the end is *not* indexable. But FFR + mashing = combo it anyway lol

also trill =/= thrill

trills are the least thrilling part of any file, in fact :/

VBeta was a low FMO to begin with even with avmisses and one of the most commonly AAA'd FMO's. Without avmisses it's too easy for FMO, especially index.

Almost everything with framers was significantly dropped in difficulty with the fix.

most fmo's need a certain quality like jumpstreams, speed, and random notes. vb is just straight forward song with a bunch of chaos. it's not all that hard.

It's quite lengthy though, which certainly adds to it's difficulty. I'm one for it being a FMO for sure. Most of the trills in it aren't hard at all except the lefthand one towards the end.

ESPECIALLY index, vB is not FMO. it was ONLY FMO because of framers. it's high-VC, and will remain high-VC... regardless of how many people want to claim otherwise. you'll note that every person who affirms it is VC is a skilled player. we know what is VC and what is FMO. vB isn't even borderline. X-Tinction is borderline, Novo Mundo is borderline, None Would Escape is borderline, etc.
