Metal Gear Solid 2 - MAJOR ENDING SPOILERS

Just got finished with this game...can ANYONE explain to me what the S3 Project was really about? How does re-enacting Shadow Moses test GW's ability to manipulate the masses? Can't they just control the flow of information as it is? How is GW supposed to control the will of every individual, as Raiden was controlled during the game?

And, if GW was destroyed, how was the Colonel still "alive" at the end? Isn't the AI a part of GW? That's what Otacon said when you find out the Colonel's an AI....

Chardish, you're wasting your time. MGS2's plot really isn't supposed to make sense. I've played through it numerous times, and I still don't get it. It's supposed to have some reference to choice and life and stuff, but it's considered by common consensus to have a simply rediculous plot. Don't waste your brainpower trying to come up with something intelligable. Also, you need to watch all the credits.

MGS2 is about snapping necks, having great gunfights, narrowly avoiding being detected, and kicking ass while having a cool mullet.

Oh, and something about a mech or something.

P.S. Snapping Necks is the best part. That and sneaking in a cardboard box.
