I don't like excluded, and I'm not much a fan of the other guy's bands, either (although NOFX has some funny songs, like kill all the white man, and stuff like that).

In my opinion there is really nothing wrong with excluded. They are a great band with catchy tunes. Especially when you consider their age.

People need to open their eyes a bit. You know how when you walk into Best Buy or any other store that carries music and you buy a few CDs? Well there are 10's of thousands of other CDs there and each one (no matter how bad it may sound to you) has thousands of fans otherwise it wouldnt be on the shelf. People WAY too often shut themselves out of being musically diverse because they want the "cool" punk band or the "cool" whatever.... please..

Even that crazy ass bastard Hyrogashi listens to Classical. :)

While I like the bands that other guy mentioned (except Anti-Flag, I really have no opinion of them), I think the punk scene's gotten way too obssessed with the idea bands selling out. Listen to the music. If you like it, sweet action. If you don't, so what. Don't worry about if they sound "poppy" or whatever.

I personally don't listen to most "popular" or "cool" or "punk" music. I am one of a kind. Excluded isn't bad, but I'm just saying I'm not a fan of them. Plus, I only go to Best Buy for games. :)

yea Synthlight's got the right thoughts about it! About 4 years ago I didnt even listen to music..(i wasnt very bright..)..Then my brother showed me Green Day, then next year abuncha other bands, and now he's listening to The Strokes and The Hives and now I like em!

I have anything against any perticular "type" of music (even though I despise Emo). I listen to various types of music Ranging from Rap to Ska(1st wave to Ska-core/punk) to BossaNova.

I remember last year, I wouldn't even tough a Rap/Hip-Hop CD. But now my favorite song is Hip-Hop.

It's true. Bands are popular because people do like their music.

It isn't the music that I don't like, it's the people who listen to it.

Ok, well, their main goal isn't to be funny, like Weird Al's is. Their goal is just to make punk music. They're just weird guys, so it ends up being funny.

I've seen Weird Al in concert twice. Hell of a funny stage show.

Exactly my thoughts Mr. Nestle. People have alot of nerve to say a band sucks. My experience has shown me that these people tend to really be close minded with no real ear for talent. EVERYONE likes a different band or style of music. Does this mean the others suck? no.. Does it meaning that anyone can play a power chord and scream and sound good? No. Does it mean that to rap is just to talk and anyone can do it? definately not. Every genre of music has it's own uniqueness and by dismissing a certain style or band you only limit yourself.

Hamstarr this is not pointed directly at you but the multitudes of people who say these things on the forum everyday about this band here or that group there.

I'm not sure how you can compare a completely unknown and upcoming band like excluded obviously must be (I don't claim to be into the underground punk scene) with the undisputed kings of the genre like NOFX, Anti-flag, and AFI. Thats like going up to someone playing his guitar in the school hallways and telling him he's not as good as Joe Satriani. It's kinda pointless.

I haven't listened to too much of excluded's stuff, mainly because rock - like rap - just doesn't make for good FFR music. That being said, I've played through every song in the rock category at least once and have yet to kill myself, so that is a plus.

Keep at it. Get famous, so one day you can laugh at people like these.

personally i've never heard excluded.. but i still have comments to make on this subject..
To start.. saying that a certain bands sucks, can be correct.. if you say that "I think this bands sucks" your statement is true.. there is no need to think about it or write a paragraph on why they don't.. you will be wrong.. the reason is that you can not argue with other peoples opinions.. "I think this band sucks".. I THINK.. this shows that he is stating what he is thinking.. therefore making it his opinion.. meaning in his mind, that band sucks.. people calling him an idiot.. and flaming him will not help because this is what he thinks..
Now.. saying that "This band sucks".. can NOT be a true statement... You can not prove if a band sucks or not.. there is no clear determined factor that says a band sucks.. because no matter how many people hate a band.. there is atleast one person that likes it.. makeing the "this band sucks" theory a false statement...
The truth is there is no defining point on the scale of sweetness that determines if a song sucks or not.. so.. rephrase your statements and your points will be valid..
