Last year, a guy in my grade, same school, same age, suicided...
Seriously, what's up with this world?

People are becoming so stupid nowadays, seriously, who kills their parents... Wouldn't you feel really weird while stabbing them... Being that, if it wasn't for them, you wouldn't be alive..

Teenagers are become more and more prone to suicide, they always think life sucks and that nobody will be hurt... Those people are pure ****ing stupid.

Yeah, there's always a lot of bad stuff happening all over the world. But have you noticed that's all anyone seems to see? Try to focus on the good stuff. I mean it's not like you'd do it so be thankful for that... sorry if it's off topic-ish.

I think that there have been cases of people killing their parents for thousands of years. The same things happened in history that happen today, it's just that the media is more wide-spread and you can find out about anything and share it with everyone.

Anyway, shame. Must have been a messed up kid.

I only had two people die from heart problems when I was in high school. One of them was my best friend at the time. These things happen. The world is messed up, it's not perfect, but there's good right along with the bad.

And you want to know why news sources focus on the bad? Because bad news makes the six o' clock news worth watching. Good news, while good, is ultimately dull. Tragedy by far has a much higher response rate.

Whenever I get depressed, I suppress it. And if it comes up, I listen to some metal and crank it up so loud that I literally can't concentrate on anything but the song. And simultaneously start going deaf.

Did you guys even read the article? It doesn't mention he was depressed, just anti-social. I've seen this kid around my school occassionally... And he definitely wasn't depressed. He sometimes goes off and chats with friends, so I don't know what got into him.

Maybe I just live in a terrible place but one teen suicide isn't too bad. My towns been having probably 2 a year minimum for the past 3/4 years, at least that's how long I've paid attention. Sucks the most when it's a friend.

Too bad this kid got stab happy, I don't care anymore when some idiot ends their own life but to take another, ****ed up.

You cannot rule out the possibility that he was depressed. Anti-socialism does not directly mean that he was depressed, but it could lead to depression. If, as you said, this fellow -had- chats with friends, then it would weaken that likelihood of him being anti-social. We can assume, then, that there were issues that were not mentioned publicly - that took place inside the home.

I'm a very social person and I rarely get depressed, but that doesn't exclude me from ever wanting to stab my parents. Perhaps this teenager was just angry (>) and couldn't deal with problems at home?

One of my close friends was murdered last year.

Also, I'm not so sure this kid had anything wrong with him who killed his parent's. Maybe they were complete *insert some horrible words here*

Not true, everyone has a limit, we can only deal with so much, and everyone's limit is different, some people can barely put up with anything, some can put up with nearly everything. We can't say he could have dealt with it differently, we don't even know what he went through exactly.
