Welcome to Gun92's 4th FFR Tournament

Sign ups are now closed. Round 7 is now underway and you have till Noon on March 13th/14th.

Alright, some of you may know me, others may not but I enjoy running tournaments and watching all the competition unfold. Like the title says, this is my fourth tournament on FFR, all of which before have gone extremely well. This is going to be your basic PA
tournament where the best scores above the line move on and those in the red and under the line will be eliminated.

Rounds
Rounds are going to go like this. There will be 8 rounds. Each round will last 3 days. Rounds will start at 12:30 (Half past noon) EST and rounds will end 3 days later at 12:00 (noon) EST. Anyone below the line and in red will be eliminated once the round is up.

Divisions and Scoring
There will be 4 divisions, just like in all my other tournaments.

Beginner (Beginner-Standard songs)

Intermediate (Standard-Difficult songs)

Advanced (Difficult-Challenging songs)

Master (Challenging-FMO songs)

You are aloud to pick your division, but I will not tolerate sandbagging or going lower when you should be higher, which I guess is the same thing. I want you to challenge yourself so pick what you know will be challenging, I have the final say in the matter and if you deliberately sandbag, you will be placed in masters, end of story. You may pick, but I have the final say.

Each round the song will progressively get harder and I will be using songs from the song list thread. I don't want to hear complaining about song choices, I'm well aware that there are songs you don't like and some that you do, but not everyone is the same and there in lies the challenge. The last round will be a difficulty jump. An example is Beginners will have to play a Tricky song, nothing outrageous, just a challenge for the finals.

Now onto the scoring. Since the new Beta or what ever came out, scoring issues have arisen. I plan on doing what everyone else is doing atm and requiring that everyone must submit a ss and replay of the game. The score that your replay shows will be the score you get. If for some reason its released to the public during this tournament, you will only be required to show a ss since everyone will be on even grounds. If you do not show a ss and replay, I will not count your score. No score will be accepted after the round ends. If for some reason I'm not here to end the round, then you have until I post that the round is over to post a score.

I will send a single reminder to you if you have not submitted for the first round. After that, you are on your own. I will also send a reminder to everyone through pm's a day before the tournament starts so that way everyone will remember.

Prizes
Now on to the part that most people enjoy the most, prizes. I will be donating 25k credits into the pot. Therefore, if you would like a huge pot, please feel free to donate, never had much luck in that department, but I hope that will change. Any amount is appreciated and my amount may rise, because I have credits coming from Llama soon. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each division. If you donate, please tell me in this thread or PM me and I will acknowledge you in this thread.

I was always thrown inbetween intermediate / Advanced until I started getting a high number of AAA's which put me in advanced in the official tourney and I lost first round lol XD

Well heres the thing Tyler...you didn't play that game recently...theres no replay in your past replays and now I have a reason to not let you in. So, thats my final say so get over it. And don't tell me I'm wrong, because I just checked and there is no past replay of the game.

Id report you, but I doubt it would do me any good, so its as simple as your not competing in my tournament. I might go around and let the other tournament heads whose tournaments your in that you cheated in mine, just so they know.

Haha...yea, I know the feeling...I got unlazy and finally FCd the stupid song the other day...it wasn't fun, so I figured it couldn't be much fun for anyone else, so Id share it with everyone...I'm gonna check what the next round songs are, and maybe drop a hint for each division.

This is why people need to be more precise as to what song difficulties each divisions include because each tournament head has a different opinion as to what beginner is and what advanced is.
