Someone has to see your songs, want to step them, take the time to step them, and then upload them to the simfile database. If you wanted songs made for FFR R1 and not for SM etc, the process is much longer since the simfiles have to be of a certain quality to be accepted, and then subjected to review.

"How long it takes" will be somewhere between "a few hours" and "Never"
