View Full Version : I think we need more Classic Songs.

In my opinion, we dont have enough classic songs. I see that we have loads of permissions for them, but no one seems to step them. I can step about 3 songs for FFR, but I think we need some good people like jx, brildynamite, and rebirth to step some. Thoughts?

I'm going to step a Classic song very soon. Possibly, one of Liszt's Transcendental Etudes. Transcendental Etude No. 2 has already been made (but very poorly) a.k.a Molto Vivace, hence I may make No. 1 (Quick, short and fun) or something else. I really enjoy Classic (piano) music, since I play piano.

it'd be nice to have some more classical music in ffr... Obviously for the difficulty, but it's also cool to feel like you're playing piano xD (since i don't........)

I stepped and submitted the 3rd movement of the Moonlight Sonata. Next up, I'm probably going to step Liszt's Transcendental Etude no. 5.

Or maybe a couple Chopin Etudes? Possibly Op. 25 no. 11 or Op. 10 no. 5?

I dunno... what do people want stepped?

obviously, you don't play piano. The similarities are tiny : P

I TOTALLY AGREE. I would be willing to step them, too. But who would you ask for permission from...?

We have permission from one guy who has a whole bunch of midi files, mainly beethoven.

Yeah, I think i can get a site with like 1000 midi's to give us some. its www.8notes.com

All of their songs are made by them (midi, not mp3's)

I want more classic songs as well. I'm currently stepping the final song in the joplin group. The entertainer.

for others: we have permission for all MIDI files by B. Hisamori in www.classicalarchive.com

they're pretty solid quality for MIDIs. feel free to check them out.
