Welcome to Round 8 of the 3rd Official FFR tournament.

Congratulations to everyone who has made it this far. Every single one of you left now is guaranteed vrofl. Now you compete for extra prizes.

This round will end on Thursday, November 1st at 11:59PM EST.

***How Tiebreakers work: If the cutoff line intersects people who have the same score at the end of the round, those people with that score will have to play a tiebreaker, which will be given. There will be an extra day - so it would be Friday, November 2nd at 11:59 PM EST. Only tiebreakers can be submitted during that extra day. After the conclusion of the tiebreaker day, round 9 will be posted. Tiebreakers can only be submitted on tiebreaker day in the thread. They can be posted on any day with PMs. Make sure to specify that it is a tiebreaker score in the subject line of the PM. Any tiebreaker submitted in the thread before tiebreaker day will not be counted. No exceptions.***

Attention players:

Cheating will be tolerated even less this tournament than the previous ones. If you signed up with an alternate account that has far worse scores than your main account without letting me know what your better account is, and I find out, not only will you be disqualified, but your account will be destroyed permanently. This means that you will have all of your scores completely erased and you will be permanently banned from the site from your ip. If you have signed up with an alternate account, you can avoid this by either telling me before the round is over so that I can make the necessary adjustments, or simply by not submitting for the first round.

Every screenshot posted MUST be of a score gotten AFTER the round began. Submitting a screenshot of a score that you got before the round will be grounds for disqualification. If I think you are cheating for ANY reason, I will disqualify you.

No, I will not move you down/up, no matter how much you think I misplaced you, and no matter how many times you ask or insinuate that I misplaced you. The ONLY exception to this is if you signed up with a multi with a bad levelrank compared to your main.

But this is a chance that many ppl could have easily missed just because they didn't check the forum cuz they were out. OWA probably checked cuz he wasn't there at night when the cuts were posted and so he checked the next day to see what song he was playing thinking that he passed with a booflag. I was there till the end and i saw myself get cut so i didn't really find the big need to check the forums until i got home at 9 45 which is 12 45 in eastern time. please sprite just think about it i know it might sound unfair but i seriously would have at least posted something even if it was or wasn't better than OWA.

I told sprite what the current prizes are... he can post that information whenever he wants, if he hasn't already. It's cash and subscriptions for the top3 in each division.

I thought I'd have CDs from some of the labels we're working with to give out... but despite the fact that I've informed them multiple times what I'd like in terms of prizes, they've yet to send me anything. I will try one more time to get you guys CDs... but at this point, I'm not very hopeful. Sorry.

Rules seem clear to everyone Tass... I didn't cheat simple as that. If I were to actually do what I said, you can perma ban me. When I wrote it, I was thinking exactly like in round 7 when Sprite said ''OK guys I'm putting the cutoff line down to 5.'' Since sprite's the organizer of all this, no one pisses him off about it, but when I make a joke.. I get all this fuss and BAM dq.. so to sum it up, I didn't go against rules, I haven't cheated, I haven't made multiple accounts for this one tourney, I don't hack, period.
By the way, what the hell is a "hussler", and how am I intentional for it.

OMG, I was just about to FC Choprite and got an av-miss at 1506 combo. Would have been my first FMO FC.

Av-misses are most definitely the most annoying thing on the face of this planet.

Average-misses.. It's when you hit the first arrow of a jack too late, and you get an average and a miss, since it registers the second note, and doesn't let you hit the first.
Basically, that's why AIM anthem is the bane of all FFR players.

Tier 4, but still. All you Intermediate guys who are in right now are getting scores that I'm not even close to. Like I can barely FC BotM, maybe cause I don't play spread, and Torinouta is obviously cause I don't play spread, stupid ass 64ths at the beginning and all the 32nds. Way too hard to PA 3-finger. Tribal I can't AAA either. I would have been eliminated from Intermediate a couple of rounds ago. =S

EDIT: Btw I got 13-0-0-0 on Torinouta 3-finger a while back. That was impressive, but I doubt I could do that again haha.

whoring a song means playing the crud out of it and just playing it over and over and over again Tier points are points that are awarded to you for when you meet a certain requirement on selected songs
