Likely many of you have noticed a change in your Buddy List / Friend List.
Gone are the days or simply adding anyone. Its a request system like any other, and requires you to request access to the users to be added.
Additionally Block a user is now possible and being more deeply integrated. Additional options will come with this in the near term.
More and more privacy features are on the way, as well as email notifications .. but will take some time.
Comments, thoughts, useful suggestions? Complainers without suggestions will be flogged

The friend list was modified to include everyone that had you on their buddy list.
You now have the ability to cull that list down as needed.
Dreamscanner .. tempt me not, keep it on topic or I will restrict you to the gbin, which invariably would get you banned.

There are people that have added me, although I did not add them. I can't get rid of them, either; I checked my buddy list in the UCP, and there names are not there.

Profiles are somewhat separated from the forums. We will look at that option going forward. Trying to get things in place and all the immediate features working.
Expect enhancements as we go forward.

LD said that this wouldn't be possible.
I can finally see who added me.
W00t.
Also, I love how my idea was put through about being able to hide certain parts of my profile.

Ya, I really like this idea of seeing who added you.
WTH when'd darkshark become a MP mod?
EDIT: oh just today,

What is the extent of the ignore option? I've had some questions from people asking about this, such as picture comments and profile comments, or something like PMs and profile votes.

PMs are not included, as its part of the forum feature. It has its own ignore options.
Block should prevent users from comment on your profile components, including the front page, photos, and blog entries.
