TOURNAMENT SET-UP
When you complete a song, take a SS of the score, put it into MS Paint or whatever, save it, and put it onto a photo-sharing site. Also, take a picture of your last 10 Games played (showing the Round's score on it), and include your little siggy blurb on top of the Last 10 played as well. Also put this onto a site. Then, send the links to the photos to me via PM on FFR. You may send more than 1 entry, but only the last one will count. I will be updating my mailbox every time I go online (which is often), so you can expect an update anywhere between 5 mintues and 3 hours. Overnight submissions are different. I'm not usually up until 3:00 am like this XD Anyway...

Your score will be judged just like many other tournaments: by score, which will be judged as follows:
(# of Goods,# of Averages,# of Misses,# of Boos,Max Combo)

As for ties, you will simply play the tiebreaker song and follow the same format as the Round song. If there are STILL ties, best score on Crowdpleaser moves on.

As for the prizes, I am willing to split 27,000 of my own credits (as well as those from donations) throughout the divisions... if anyone else is willing to donate some credits, I would surely add to all the prizes. Here's how the prizes will be dealt out:

Beginner Division
1st: 3,250 or 3-month subscription
2nd: 1,500 or FFR Sticker
3rd: 750 or FFR Sticker
4th: 500*

Advanced Division
1st: 6,250 or 6-month subscription
2nd: 3,000 or FFR Sticker
3rd: 1,500 or FFR Sticker
4th: 750*

Expert Division
1st: 13,000 or FFR T-Shirt
2nd: 6,000 or 3-month Subscription
3rd: 1,500 or FFR Sticker

Well now, since Advanced is doing so far better than the others, I may as well increase the size of the division... and I can probably expect to decrease Expert's division if not enough join. Basically, there isn't a set number I'll allow into each division. I'll wait and see when the divisions start petering out (though, it seems Expert has already)

You do realize overall rank means absolutely nothing about skill, right?

Exactly. Overall Rank is just an indication of how many points you have accumulated. What I take into account is Overall Rank WITH Games Played, years playing, average rank, multiplayer level... really, all the stuff on your profile card. Also, a better understanding of the skill level (usually) is AVERAGE rank. This is an indication of the average rank on EVERY song in the game. If it's low, that person has gotten really good scores on a LOT of songs, and is (probably) better than some.

However, it's not always true. Look at mine. It's only that high because I choose not to play the really easy levels... I will eventually, but not now. Some day, I will vanquish the Synthlight flies!

After a tie is established, play the tiebreaker song and submit (you may also submit this more than once, but the last submission is the one I'm taking). If there is a tie AGAIN, the points will be split up as shown in the explanation.

Play it if you're tied with someone.

If you don't have a AAA and you're tied, " ***IMPROVE OR TIEBREAK*** " will be next to your name. You either have to improve your score or play the tiebreaker. Note that if you AAA the tiebreak, but your opponent improves his Round Song score, that AAA doesn't go into effect until you tie him again. However, after you are tied, I will put back up your tiebreak score.

If you have a AAA and are tied, then all you will see is " ; " after the AAA

There has to be a day for tiebreakers too, right? This isn't Round 1; it's just a resolving phase leading into Round 2.

Don't lose hope! There's still 4 more Rounds of guaranteed play, plenty of time to get points. Honestly, I wouldn't worry... even if you started submitting in Round 5, you'd still probably make top 4 in expert since noone cares, I guess.

Also, update. BTW, another lucky break, I'm getting called into work again until 10. SOO, I won't be able to stop submissions until 10. However, still expect Round 2 to begin at 11:58pm tonight.
