No, it's a stock photo.
It took about an hour.

There are very few pictures that I ever like enough to save it to my comp...but this is just awesome.
Would you mind explaining how you managed to do that? The ocean is just so...colorrific

I first cloned the entire picture and set it to hard light to give it more vividness since it was so damn blah and non-contrasting at first. I merged the layers and tweaked brightness/contrast till it looked reasonable.
Then I went to channels and merged the values of the green and blue channels into one layers since that was the general composition of the water. From there I used lots and lots of curves + painting to make it so that the ocean was the only area selected. I then went back to the main area and dropped a blue color into that selection on hard light. Then I went back to the channels again and Increased the values of the blue channel on the water and darkened the Red and Green layers.
Then I gaussian blurred the sky a bit, and voila.

Vash uses photodraw. Booo.
And that had nothing to do with the topic.
Nice work, Aperson.

Spare me your smartass egotistical attitude. You aren't badass, so stop acting like you are. Your sickening signature is a perfect display of your inflated ego. "Losses: 1 (You can slam arrows and keep a combo lolol u so kewl)" Guess what? You're slamming arrows and keeping a combo too, dickwad. Who really cares if you can press the arrow keys in a more accurate rhythm than another person, anyway? You're acting like this will make people judge you a certain way just because you lost a challenge(boo hoo), when in actuality, what you entered as your signature is what will make people judge you. The fact that you have damage control on your loss, instead of shrugging it off and getting pissy about it is honestly quite childish.
Anyway, about your photo enhancing(if you could call it that). When you look at the rocks they look too overdone with colour. It doesn't look natural. The original image looked perfect, natural, serene. This color toning whatever you did to it made it look.. wrong. Except for the waves, I have to admit that the water did look cool to some extent.

Mwerp's on a rampage...he wasn't attacking your character, man, so there's no call to go attacking his. Anyway, the picture looks badass (although I'll grant you the gripe about the rocks color, I was actually thinking that myself). And it looks a lot better than the original, whether or not it's more realistic is arguable, but even you can't argue that it at least looks cool.

Yeah, shame I'm on a forum mainly devoted to 'mashing arrows.' Apparently people care or there wouldn't be whining about high-score hacking all the time. Look at the evidence before you look like a retard.
Oops, sorry for the ad-hominem attack, I'll lay off attacking you from now on Mwerp.

Yes I know about the problem with the rocks. The grain was so bad on the original I couldn't really do much, however.

Lay off people. I hate these flamefests, they're so pointless.
Aperson- WOW. That is some serious photoshop skill. You're good at this, you oughta sell your pics or something.

I hope you don't mind me adding that part in, but it was just bugging me that you didn't include it.
Geez, dude. If you're going to try and make some form of a comeback, at least do it right :(
From what you just said, the audience you're trying to please here would be that of the unwise and immature children(no doubt you must be one yourself). The fact that you're bothering to do this will get you disrespect from people like me, and all the other cool cats that may post on whatever forum. Perhaps you should rethink things a bit?
As for the

you use Anticrombie to try and make yourself look cooler, because he posted something you could twist around. That's a no-no. On top of that, you tell a lie. That's an even bigger no-no :/
That part lost me; did you mean ad-homonym? I'm not sure if you did or not. Seriously, I'm not using that lame form of sarcasm.
I'm just glad you actually typed something up at the end in good manner. Up until that point you've been quite rude to me, both in the FFR forum and in chat :(

I actually like the rocks. The origianl looks like cheaply done CG work whereas the "correction" looks professional.

Well done. That is my type of psp user. Finally I am not alone. Oh, and aperson, you might want to soften the contrast or levels a little. The black has lined the pic too much. It looks like the contrast though.
If you were aiming for vividry, you hit it on the mark.
You can lighten that right side so it isn't in shadow though.
you can use a gradient in red-mask and then use levels.

At first, I thought the second picture was much better looking, but now that I look closer, I like the first one better.
I still think the job you did, Aperson, was awesome.
