Off-beat badly..maybe its just me

I noticed that songs #3 and #4 on dance, (Snowman+Sunshine,136.6) are seriously off-beat today. The arrows show up about a second late compared to the beat.. maybe its just my comp.. but yesterday it was working fine so i dunno what to say.. take a look into it.. might just be me but its worth a shot.

before the new beta, i played the ff7 song nicely and it synced up perfectly. today i was playing the new beta and the song and arrows seem to be off and its enough to thro my game off.

yea, i was playing final fantasy and mega man on the arcade one, and it was really off beat today. i was FOR SURE it's not me cause yea, there was like a 1.5 second gap between the beat and the arrow.... :cry:

Maybe it's just me, but a lot of the songs have been seeming "off" recently. I used to be able to play through songs like Terror From Beyond with no problem, but now it's registering half my button presses as misses.

The new song in the classical section is REALLY off. It's so quiet you can barely hear it but on the loud notes that are clear to hear they go beat..................................arrow. No joke, it's waaaaaayyy off. Did anybody else notice?

Nestlekwik explained this in another thread but I will restate it here.

First of all, the Moonlight Sonata is supposed to be played very softly, Pianisamo I think it's called. (not sure about the spelling) There's no error with the sound, just turn up your speakers if you want to hear it better.

As for the beats being off, because it's done on piano and not on some kind of machine, the beats are more original and since you can only make a stepfile in quarter beats or eigth beats, it's extremely hard and even impossible in some cases to make it right on beat.

because its on piano its harder to line up the beats??? what instrument do you think all the other songs are done on? some kind of metronome synched electronic boogieboard?
The song should NOT be that quiet. turn ur speakers up? i shouldnt have to jack my volume up and down, why not just turn the volume of the song up rather than having thousands of people wearing out their knobs! 8)

Hmm, maby you didn't read any of the posts. Nestlekwik explained. The song is SUPPOSED to be quiet. Not loud. Yes, lets play pianissimo like we are fucking dumbasses, so it will blow our ears out!

maybe i didnt make myself clear. the song is NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THAT QUIET
i have the actual piano music here. i just looked at it again. no music is written to be too quiet to hear. only a moron is going to play it so quietly that they cant hear the beats to play along with (atleast as long as the beats are lined up, which they arent)
now, lets even assume the song was written, by beethoven (a deaf man) to be that quiet (like a person going deaf would write anything quiet). Why would the makers of this fine game pick it, knowing it was too quiet to play with. And why wouldn't they turn the volume up so there was even a point of playing it?!
If it was supposed to be that quiet, they wouldnt bother sending out gigabytes of info playing the song at all.

A ton of songs on FFR are offbeat like hell. When I raised my framerate using opera, I found rondo was offbeat.

I think that Hip-hop/Shag is also messed up. A little less than half-way through the song the beginning begins to repeat with the song in kind of an overlap making it hard for me to match the beats up with the arrows.

Holy, is moonlight sonata ever badly off beat... maybe 1/3 of them are on beat... when the arrows and the music line up i get perfect every time, but i cant really force myself to ignore the music and just hit the arrows on time. And it seems like sometimes that doesnt even work correctly. This song needs to be remapped
