Meh, this is posted in chit chat under wickedawesomeful's thread, but I'd like a good critique for these.
What would you change or do differently.

Also does anyone else delve into the world of 3d art? If so what program do you use and possibly show off some work x_0

I don't like the robotic eye angle you went with, but you did pull it off as well as I would think the concept could be done.
The font used for track listing is a bit hard for me to read. The instances of "Retina" look fine though.
ps I just realized... what's with the seam looking thing on the eye? They're in a different place on each image, but they're definitely present in both...

It's actually a reflection of a distant wall I put up around the scene

Wow. Very cool.
Now, I don't do any 3D art, but I'm interested in getting into it eventually. What program did you use?

Couldn't you have used a curved surface for that?

I'm experimenting with using a spherical atmosphere right now, but it still needs to stand on a flat surface to get the shadow, So this could get interesting.
And Papp, I use 3ds max 7.
***edit
Fixed the "seam" for the most part in this one. I'll render a large high quality one later, cause it takes like a half hour per frame to render.

Changed the font on the back cover cause you couldn't read it.
Made the platform that it sits on alot smaller, no more (still a little) glare from it so it doesn't look like a seam.
What do you think about this set?

Good idea, and you pulled it off. Looks great!

Couldn't you curve off the platform the eye is on? It's still leaving a strange effect in the eye. Something like this:

That may have worked, but now I have the model fully rigged and am in the process of animating =)

Be sure to upload to Youtube and post here.
Also, be sure to spend 10,000 hours rendering it.
