I used autohotkey to make it so that my set up was dfjk and found that if there were fast streams that had a lot of left and down arrows in a row then it was hard for me to move my one hand fast enough to keep up and it started to cramp up. Am I doing somethin wrong. Im new to the whole spread thing i usually play index but I want to be able to play better.

Re: Playing Spread
Wait, spread is two hands with four fingers, but you're saying that your one hand cramps up? That's uhm.. one handed. Or maybe you just worded this completely wrong? Because I interpret it as you using one hand to play.Snapchat: icequeenilse -
Re: Playing Spread
I use one hand for d and f and one hand for j and k but if theres a part were i have to hit d and f a lot of times in a row really fast i cant do it without moving other hand over but are you supposed to do that.Comment

Re: Playing Spread
No, you're not supposed to do that, I guess, unless you're really good and can moves your other fingers over fast enough. I think you're talking about trills? I don't know, but try not to move your fingers away from the j and k keys unless you feel the need to index those trills and manage to actually hit them and not miss. I understand how hard that is. =/ My left hand goes retarded when I have to do trills and I'm a spread player, but then again.. I play with the arrow keys. xDSnapchat: icequeenilseComment

Re: Playing Spread
Same setup I use.
Just practice alternating between your middle and index finger for d and f respectively (vice versa with j and k). You can do the same even without a keyboard. Practice on a desk perhaps if you're bored in school (that is, if you even go to school).Comment

Re: Playing Spread
Is there any real strategy for the one handed trills? I just decided to start converting myself to spread yesterday, and I can't get any trills over 100 BPM. My fingers just don't want to work right. I don't get sore, they just can't move fast enough. Would it be because I'm unflexible? What are ways I can get my fingers faster?Comment
