This is a poem of mine.

This poem is fairly straight forward. I call it "Mercy".


Ruefully, the lord of my heart is now not joy.
Although, before and after, it was twice once so,
chryselephantine butterflies ploy.
Hurt me not, but reelect that once great lord.

Eleison! I cry to thee.
Let that lord return to me.

Hm. Decent, but there was one part that drove me crazy. "...is now not joy."
Overall, good poem. Rachel is the name of my sister. X3

My girlfriend's name is actually Raquel but I did not think of anything that started with the letter Q that I really liked. So I used the English equivalent of Raquel which is Rachel of course. I wrote two other acrostics with her name as well. But one is in Spanish and the other is in French.
