I'm not positive but I believe that the queen stands on her own color. That would make them face each other.

yeah i thought the k and q faced each other...since it would be too easy...cuz once u get the pawn in frnt of the king outta the way, its a straight path for the queen. so yeah. that wouldnt make it fair. so they face each other.

technically the open isnt a move, its the open so its 3 (someone told me the checkmate move isnt either so according to that its 2)

u should change Kn to N...even if thats not how its spelled its easier to follow. kn and k might get confusing. just a suggestion

Well I never do it this way, and I think it is easier the way I have it. Besides, it is "alpha-numeric notation".
