When ever I'm walking up stairs in my house, halfway through sometimes I'll get on all fours and crawl up like a dog, or a baby.

I don't know why. I don't think my stairs are steep :S

Does anyone else do this?

People have already been discussing things like this in the "Stupid things you've done but never told anyone..." thread. Why make it a new thread?

Oh look:

But fine, to answer your question, no, I don't.

Wow, Dragon, you sound way too much like I do. I almost always traverse stairs 2-3 at a time, on my feet.

I sound like you? Yet people call me asshole etc, yet call you mod wannabe etc.

Funny world.

Though I must admit I traverse stairs like you, I walk up them with my feet placed firmly on the steps.

Must be a Russian thing.

I used to do that at a younger age (5-7), mostly because my legs weren't entirely long at that age, and I'd just crawl on all 4's to make life simpler.

I remember climbing some steps once (4 years old FTW), and I fell backwards - I went head, feet, head, feet, head, feet - and so forth - until I hit the bottom.

I usually just walk up 2 steps at a time, going up 1 at a time annoys me. And I have done the all 4s thing, but got over that as soon as I realized how stupid I looked

I used to do that all the time when I was smaller, it was a lot faster and easier. It still is, but I just don't do it anymore.

I go up stairs 2-4 at a time and down 2-6 at a time. I rarely go one at a time.

I think a lot of young kids climb stairs like that, but discontinue because it's just simpler on two feet once you're taller and you shouldn't be on all fours walking up stairs in public...

What sucked was being in reform school and having to go upstairs 1 step at a time in unison....that blew lol. If you got on your hands and knees to go up the stairs you'd have gotten yelled at so bad lol

dude I do that still, I make it a competition for myself to see how fast I can get up. Usually in about two or three seconds I'm up.

Going down I go 2 at a time at a flat-out sprint. I've been doing this for years so I never fall XD

I'm pretty sure I posted this in another thread, or maybe I just thought about it but;
one time while staying in a nice hotel I went up the stairs on all fours and I failed to realize there was an older man behind me. As soon as I get to the top of the stairs and turn around, realizing he's there he says to me "I really wanted to spank you just then." Scary.
But I do this all the time because I have wooden stairs and while wearing socks I usually fall down them.

If I don't have anything on my back or anything to carry, I always run up the stairs in my house on fours. It is so much easier and faster for me to do so. It is also the only time that is easy to run on your fours.
