Ok, here it goes.
I downloaded this skinL: http://www.bemanifever.com/simulation/simskins.php
and then i went to appearence options, and switched my theme to PurpeStream(which is what i downloaded).
It turned all black and said something in white at the top. When i went to play it again it was the same skin i had been using the whole time, and not the new skin.
What is the problem?
