stepmania versus dwi

which do you think is better? i personally like stepmania because of the extra game options and styles

Stepmania is a better simulator because of the edit mode in to the game, and the relative ease of loading songs. I couldn't understand DWI at first.

I have to say DWI is better than StepMania myself. I guess SM wins in user friendliness and all, but it uses quite a deal more system resources than DWI does. Being the UberGeek I am, I prefer having my programs do what they're supposed to with the least amount of system strain.

I guess it doesn't really matter, I've got a really nice rig, so it's not like I notice a speed difference, but the fact that StepMania took as much system resources as Splinter Cell on my machine is a bit wacky.

Hm...... well i have tried both and i gotta say that i like DWI better. Yea SM is more realistic and has support for PIU and BJ, but the arrows for the game play are horrible!!!!!! Those are some reallyyyyy funky colors. But on the other hand SM has a easy way to make step files.

DWI is the god of Sim programs... Sm is gay because it has all these added options... and **** thats not even on DDR... what kind of sim is that if it has **** not on DDR??... and it also doesnt have a user system.... so gay

SM CVS is the best simulator period. SM 3.0 final is a little better than DWI, but CVS comparing DWI to CVS is like making DWI a small hick town in the middle of nowhere and making CVS a nuclear bomb
