My Right hand and forearm hurt like a mother****er.....

It seems to be getting hard to move my fingers.

I'm gonna AA TSS before I go to bed though, I just wanna know how to identify carpal tunnel.

That's probably just because you're playing one handed.

It seems to be getting hard to move my fingers.
Carpal tunnel is much more than pain and stiff joints.

Toxic shock syndrome?!

1. Lol, I play spread (Down Left 8 6)

2. I know it's more than pain and stiff joints, I know what it IS (Compression of the nerves over your carpal bones and flexor tendons in the wrist.) I just don't know how to ID it yet.....

I'm not saying I have it, but I would like to know so if I recognize symtoms I can lay off the SM.

3. TSS = Tokyo Style Speedcore

What you need to do, if your concern is carpal tunnle, is to limp your wrist when not in use. The best example I can think of is Monty Burns in the Simpsons in that hunched postiontion with the arms by the chest. A begging dog too.

I've never had anything that felt remotely like carpel tunnel when playing FFR/SM, although sometimes my pinky gets twisted in this really weird way and it hurts like hell (usually happens on really long marathons like MSWGO).

What Are the Symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?

Usually, people with carpal tunnel syndrome first notice that their fingers "fall asleep" and become numb at night. They often wake up with numbness and tingling in their hands. The feeling of burning pain and numbness may generally run up the center of the person's forearm, sometimes as far as the shoulder. As carpal tunnel syndrome becomes more severe, symptoms are noticed during the day.

Yes, I meant he should look up a user-submitted definition as opposed to a medical reference website. Thank you for that correction.

Usually when my wrists get painful after onehanding FFR with my wrists bent, they start to hurt. Carpal tunnel syndrome?

PS. Self Diagnosing is a really bad idea.

Feel along your tendons for any signs of pain upon touch or knots. You can wiggle your fingers so the tendons become visible unless your fat. If you are fat, no one cares.

Stop playing for a day or two just don't use that hand that much and your hand should start getting better.

I just wrap a bandaid around my hand.. so that it gets stiff..
And continue playing..

You generally shouldn't worry about Carpal tunnel unless you don't exercise your wrists. Like.. if you play a sport, and let your wrists and hands move, you shouldn't worry about it. FFR will probably not give you this anyway.
