There has to be an easier way to get people to give songs and song permission. Someone, somewhere must think of a way.

I am not this person.

At least not yet. However, I should have a few flashes of inspiration and should think of a devilishly good way of getting songs on FFR.

Soon.

New bands seem to be creeping up all the time. Some of the people who play FFR must have a band of their own. Those people could easily give songs, only problem, people would probably want to know these songs first. As for making the songs, you need to make dwi files, which many people seem to be having the same problem that I have. We can't test them, so we don't know if their good. Nestlekwik has been trying to help me with this, but the problem keeps going on... Well that's all I have to say... FOR NOW!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE HA HA HA HA!!!!!

Wait I was just thinking and now I have an idea. If there was a section on the left side of screen, where it says Play FFR Online, FFR Hi-Scores and so on, that said credits. And then all the new songs could be listed in there with a bunch of legal stuff, stating that so and so band has full rights to creation of that song, bla bla bla. I don't actually know if that works because I don't know much about law yet, but if it does why not give it a try.

Since I know we don't want to give Synthlight the extra work of having to do that stuff for each new song, if there was a section in the dwi. FAQ part about the layout of these, then the users could create these themselves and Synth could just copy paste.

Like I said, I don't know if this works or not. Just giving my idea.

Well are you doing Nestlekwik's tutorial on DWI making, or are you using a program? I'm using a program called Xstep and its been working great! if you download DWI (the simulator, not the files) you can also test your arrow beats and see if they go along with the song.

That's just the problem... I can't test my files on DWI... it says no songs found when I click arcade. And yes, my folders/files are all in right places, etc.

Well the good thing is, it has a built in test mode where all you hafta do is click the "Test" button and it opens a DWI window and shows the arrow beats and plays the music in the background.
