Why do people keep saying that? I'm terrible at FFR (can you believe I actually find [Oni] to be an impossibly hard accomplishment? what a noob, huh), and it'd be a lie to say I can read mines well on SM, but I didn't find Nanairo v2 that hard at all. It just took me a few plays to figure out what to hit and maybe a dozen more in total to figure out how to PA the song well enough. I can't see how someone who's actually good at this game would have much trouble with it.

all bursts in ketsarku are distributed more or less evenly with one note per column per half-beat, so hit bursts rhythmicly.

Besides the weird patterns at the end, the other problem is that there's hardly any music to get your own beat on - the 24ths step to some kind of distorted radio noise or something like that.

This is pretty good for me, haven't gotten to play ffr as consistently as I'm able to this year. And I started SM consistently just last week and it has really shaved my bad pa down so this is a good score for me. I'll get the sdg in a week or two if this progress keeps up x]
