First off, I'm from memphis, TN if anyone on this board lives near or has visted, umm yeah. I have been playing DDR for a few years, between home pads and the arcade at the mall in my area ( The Tilt ). I don't have many close friend sthat play but we have a pretty good following that show up alot, hold small tournies and what not.
Anyways, I was watching one of my friends playing , he was on his final, and he was a few steps away from the end. He hoped off and I hear this guy go " Ohh ****!", I tunr around and see a girl step up unto the machine she slipped in her 3 quaters and chose heavy as her setting. And when I got a good glispme of the girl, she was, and not to offensive, huge. Tall and overweight htat she was, and some people in the crowd were saying **** like" No way can she do that .." " That girl play..!?" and other stuff.
And then her first song, was Era , I liked the song so I watched, and man was I tripping this girl nailed every step! It was soo awesome. Which brought me to the conclusion that DDR is for everyone who is intrested, I mean the songs are so ranged and it is not like it takes a great body to go up and start playing either. But it is also why so many of my friends refuse to play is because they don't think they are the type of perosn who plays DDR, or would be any good at it. There is a song for everyone, it jsut matters on what your prefernce is. I just wnated ot write this post, because I figured atleats one of you has witnesse dor experienced something similar.. or be that girls rockin` on DDRMax2 ..so anyways, I'm out.
