Among all kinds of humans, the soldier stands out as the closest equivalent to a medieval, D&D-style adventurer that comes to mind. So I was thinking of honing my modern-day RPing skills by hosting a military RP, probably situated somewhere in the Mideast. But to do that, I'll need some volunteers, preferably who have served time in the armed forces or maybe as a police officer.

In other words, you could say that I'm looking for a few good men. Any takers?

I'll do it even though I haven't served either of those.
