It's the dokudenpa in kbmp1.5 not the one in kbmp1 by the way, it's the one with jumpstream in the middle instead of stream and IIRC has no jacks. mostly he's just played the game so much that arbitrary jumpstream at so 'slow' of a speed is trivial to keep up with

The files are hardly related, I do worse at fast stream than jumpstream. Indexplx is mainly jumpstream (awkward at that) and a few annoying jacks, Everlong is 4/5th jumpstream and the rest is stream, where I get my cbs.

YMCA is annoying stream plus I'm sure I get quite a few CBs in the 24th jacks

I live in an upscale apartment in Manhattan, and a guy down the hall from me was apparently a dealer (some college kid who was obviously able to live there because he financed it with money from his deals) -- got mugged at gunpoint at his own place and was shot in the head. Nobody's protected anywhere.

If you're doing these deals in your own home, then WTF man. Not exactly the safest business to be in. My brother has gotten into some serious trouble from this sort of thing, too -- cut your losses while you can.

I found out that if you have a computer with Nvidia, go into your Nvidia control and drop the slider all the way to performance. That's why my MA boosted exponentially (see below)

I swapped themes on Windows 7 (from Aero to Classic) 'cos apparently it makes FFR work better (which it did). Got bored 'cos I sucked at FFR so I tried playing SM and the MA/PA on Classic is insanely different to what I get on Aero (both run fairly smoothly...Classic is probably a bit more smooth, if anything)

Well I recently changed my settings on my windows 7 too, much like you did, from a recentish setting to the classic stuff. I noticed that stepmania ran smoother and thus I felt I was hitting a bit too early. I had to up my Cmod from 820 to 860 for me to play with the same comfort as before.

I also think the fact that this reduced lag from the computer also reduced the time lapse between hitting a key and the computer reading it, or something like that.

BTW second genocide MA is cool :D

Yeah, it definitely felt a tad slower using the same Cmod. I may up the Cmod and try playing on Classic...who knows. I'm so used to the Aero though...and I'm too lazy to change the Cmods around :P
