Guess I ain't sleeping yet, I'm kind of curious about this cmod stuff, I run SM 3.9 in windowed 640x480, distant notebar+ with that c1000, but I'm not sure if it's actually as spaced out if someone else put c1000 on distant, hard to explain, on my old comp I played c775 overhead and c900 distant I think, but when I got new comp it felt slower or something on the same setting. I wonder what factors make the difference and all if they do.

In that vid the arrows look very fast for me, and I guess that means something since I play distant.

I play around c900 if I use the AOI Projekt Blue theme though, the scoring bottom is smaller so more space between the bottom and the receptor arrows, which makes it seem slower if i used the same cmod as normal theme.

Yeah the default bottom obstructs some of the screen, if it was removed or made thinner the arrows would be visible for longer duration while going up and you should up cmod then.

I guess I just read fast then, but 3.9 and 3.95 (dunno about 4.0) have slightly different cmod scroll speed with same values, atleast that's what I've heard/read.

It's also certain patterns that you are capable or not capable of doing that can affect scores.

Like, Death Reveals to me isn't really that bad, but the patterns in disregard are really akward for me and even though it's only 4 bpm faster I get a ton of cbs

PS, your disregard is 10.9% away from the AA dawn, even if you changed 21 of the misses to marvs on that score it's still not a AA. The score dossar just posted however, is 5% away from the AA. Overall I'd still say your score is better dawn, he has 11 more CBs.

I probably installed stepman in fall 2005, but I didn't get into it, only had plaguemix packs from stepmania.com, so over that year I didn't play like much at all.

Just because wooke's a respected sm vet does not mean he is right all the time. I posted c400 scores and really slow xmod stuff until july when Puppet told me about putting real cmods. If I really did play since march 2007, I would have already known about the cmod thing, and I'd certainly be posting better scores by now.

I just played Leg Tap like I would a synthlight song on FFR. It's not that hard if you play it without hitting 1 or 2 frame gallops as jumps. Hit them like they are and you should get an AAA. :S

And I don't want to play on c400 it's too slow ;p

Stepmania is the greatest game, i love it with a passon!
it's like DDR and In The Groove but it's eather on the keyboard or on a dance pad(i do both).

You can upload videos for backrounds and can put your own music in the game and make steps to them.....i do that all the time and made my own song steps for about 100 songs already. I am upsesed!

Well, when the week I got StepMania, I got the characters. They were all from DDR PC, and for those who been to the Character Download site and download them, or just looking at their pictures, you might know them by now.

And then like a week later, the characters have "whiteskinned", or worse: Character mess-up.
