there's a one handers list in the topic titled "ONE HANDERS LIST" (In FFR general talk)

I'm guessing eveeryone else is 2 handed <_<

People that normally play with two hands use both the numpad and regular arrow keys.

I use two hands.
My left middle finger does the left
My left pointer finger does down
My right pointer finger does up
and my right middle finger does right.

I use the arrow keys, which on my keyboard are in an upside-down "T".

and that's it!

I've been using the index fingers both on the arrow keys basically because Im not sure how to alter the keys. Im sure its simple and I overlooked it, however I couldn't find anything about maping keys in the settings section, any help?

You can't joymap keys in FFR, only SM and R2.

If you want a variety of how people play go to the FFR General Forum and view the MANY 4 finger threads and such. I've stoppped reading them but I'm sure they are all one in the same.

I play a very, very, spread two-handed style, on Stepmania at least -- I use A(left) and S(down) on the left hand, and since my arrow keys are buggy, I actually use Home(up) and Pagedown(right) for the right hand. It's comfier and a lot less cramped for me; odd considering I'm a small, small person

Two possibilities:

- You suck it up and start practicing with two hands now.
- You keep playing one handed and never come close to the hard stuff.

i only use one hand, the index finger for left, middle for up and down, and the second finger to the right(i dont know what its called) for right. For the up-down jump i press up with the middle and down with the index

I use one hand. Its easier. But then again, every now and then I will switch to using both hands, and I personally think that is awesome. But since I am on my laptop, I have no NUM pad and it gets quite difficult for me without it. I really need to get a keyboard to hook up to this thing...

Using one hand is easier, but once you play the faster songs, it's better to use 2. When I play faster songs, I usually find using one hand slow, especially when you do jumps.

Started 1hand, switched to 2hand on the numpad. Now I'm switching to index. Was getting beat left and right in mp with 4finger. And I'm pretty good at 4finger. Can fc stufflike after me in arcade with ease using 4finger.

The only major problem my switch to indexing is left-up-right-up-left-up-right-up-left-down-right-down-left-down-right-down stuff where im not sure which hand to hit that mid note on. Any advice on the switch would be appreciated, thanks.
