Great Big Thanks To All The Artists

Well first off this topic is to say thanks and what not to all the artists who created the music to make our levels on FFR possible. I believe they derserve a great round of thanks and "WOW YOUR AMAZING!" Cause they are extremely important. So basically leave a thanks to all the artists give a shout out to your favorite maybe and ask him/her a questions about theyre music.

I'd like to thank all the artists for they're amazing talent, all the songs you have contributed to this site certainly has made a great impact on everyone. Looking forward to more songs in the near future can't wait and I know most people can't either.

Honestly my favorite Artist...I don't have one I just have some favorite songs.

"PS. ( What do you use to make such kick ass beats in your songs " For Great Justice"? )"

I use my awesome sense of rhythm

If you wanted a more technical answer...

I use a pretty generic sampler, and there really isn't any huge secret in how it is done. I use delays and overdrives a lot with certain EQ settings, mostly to bring out lows and high mids, it depends on how dirty or muddy I want the drums to sound. Samples are also sped up and slowed down slightly for distortion and variation. Another effect is to use the same sample in two different keys, triggered at the same time, like creating a chord with white noise, usually use it to give "warmth" to a certain fill or break. When I want a clean sample I usually record it live and then reverb and overcompress to "denaturalize" it.

Another method is to just play the sample too loud, so it will distort and clip on its own, and most software samplers (excluding Matilde and the XS-1 by Jeskola won't do it at all) will begin to deteriorate the sound quality in reproduction, which is why I use some really crappy software samplers occasionally. Think of how a cd audio file goes from 32 bit wav to 128bit mp3, as signals get spread out all over, some distortion occurs that ruins the original sound.

I'm not sure which of those answers your question, because I am not sure what you wanted to know exactly. Hoped it helped, though.

gah! cant... choose! X.o but i have to say my fav artist would probably be For Great Justice, concitering the fact that my two favorite songs on the game happen to be dendrite and secret zombie room (im into dark music without words and cool beats and origionality and crap, so take the compliment! ^^)
