You gotta CHILL, man. Gamers aren't the only ones that don't like him. His ideas aren't spreading like wild fire. Nobody wants to join his crusade. Jack Thompson's cause was lost a long time ago. This puny book will not influence many.

jack thompson wrote a book this is the book. i like the book because it says that i can go out and shoot guns and stuff and if anyone gets hurt its not my fault its because of videogames leik gran theft atto. my mommy bougt me that game an its fun becase you kill people. my mommy buys me whatever i want an because shes so busy she doesnt have time to find out whats good so i tell her an she lets me get whatever i want.

the mean guy at the gamestore wont let me buy gun-shooting games cause they say im too young, even tho the book said he would, but its okay because my mommy will buy it for me anyways.

anyways,you should get this book because it smrt. yay!

If you can stretch something to over 200 pages, then you can publish a book.

This book is a joke. All it appears to be is a feeble attempt by Jack Thompson to get people to mindlessly agree with him. Sure, he has a book out, but would this automatically launch him onto the front headlines of a newspaper? No. Many others have their books published, and I think those people likely have better reputations than this man.

Also, people should really get their facts straight. Take this review as an example.

I feel that Thompson has every right to fight against these videogames and it's despicable that this judge has removed his license for fighting against something he believes in. What's even more sickening is how all of these gamers are happy about it. Get your facts straight. These games are just stupid products that are irresponsibly marketed toward children that contain graphic violence and in the case of GTA even pornographic sex scenes. And you people have the gall to actually say that Jack Thompson is wrong in fighting against something like that. Please put down the controller and get a life! For the person making fun of Christians by mocking the woman from the Trading Spouses show maybe you need to take Margaret's advice and go to a church for a change. I think it would do a lot of you a lot of good because it's clear you don't have a moral fiber in your body to begin with if you think it's ok to sell kids porno games. Also, the comment about what that Skinny Puppy band did is sickening. I agree with your comment in the American Idiot review you made.

Sounds like it's the writer that needs to get his/her facts straight.
Games such as GTA are marketed to the adult crowd. In fact, if I were to have "irresponsibly marketed" these sort of games to children, I'd have diguised the true nature of the game by not showing any elements that are actually in the game in the advertising, and then I'd advertise it in many types of children's media. However, GTA's marketing has been obviously targeted at adults. In the ads, you will see some very child-friendly things such as shooting, and violent explosions, and most of these ads run on programs that are well above TV-Y7. Hmm...That certainly doesn't look like a children's game to me, but I guess other people have different opinions.
