Anything under 6 feet is a newbie to ddr,

Anything 6 to 8 feet/standard AAs is okay,

9 footers/Heavy AAs/Light AAAs are average,

10 footers/heavy AAs/standard AAAs are good.

heavy AAAs is awesome, and you shouldn't be playing ffr if you can do this

Me an' my crew of friends have been playing for like six months and we are just getting to the point where we can do what we want on trick, and thats not even perfects, just passing.

U got it wrong, u cant expect to be an expert player within six months!!

I have no AAA (to clear that up sorry archowl) but i can double A Four expert songs. Do it All Night, Dead End, dam dariram and B4U. It took me about 2 years to get to this standard and no i dont spend all my money in the arcade

WIthin about 6 months i was on 6 feet. Then about a year i wason 8 feet. THis may be crap but its taken me a year in perfecting to get to 9 and 10 feet songs. i cant pass max 300!!!! coz i not got enough stamina but im improving.

Anyways never give up and dont even say passing beginner songs is good enough!!!

Heres a tip. Start with a trick song u find hard. THen do a basic song or an easy trick to get ure stamina and confidence back. Then go on to an expert song as ure last song so it isnt wasted.

No , your think of in the japanese. For they have to go to one of the korean schools, but kitsune is foxin japanese and neko is cat for japanese, that it is.

Any how, neko = cat and kitsune = fox in JAPANESE. But for in the other ones that must be for in the school, nekKo = fox, because it is a conjugation (i think?) so you have to use the main language for the classes.

ive gotten pretty good at ddr, i can AA dead end in maniac ive been playin for around 2 years but a couple months ago i got a pad and konamix for my ps evry1 that wants to improve should get it or ddrmax,which i just got

As for your other comment about how you think who is a newbie, average, good, and great, I don't know what you're smoking, because generally anybody whose passed a cata or two and can pass 8 or 9 foot songs easily ranks among the elite players. And I'm not talking about memorizing songs and then passing them. I mean players who take a song for the first time and pass it with a C or something. Don't establish what you think are proper ranking levels if you don't know what you're talking about.

Elite players? Haha, you must be one hell of a newbie then. Maybe a year ago would that be considered good, but not now. Being good now is passing 10 footers with at least a B and catas with As and Bs. Passing catas with Cs is nothing and lots of people in the tx/ca area have seen all that **** before YEARS ago. You probably are in some small town where everyone sucks, or you haven't seen any good players in an arcade before. The "Elite" is people in norcal, who can AA 10 footers with under 50 greats. "Elite" is people like zack, gpf lith, and corey, who can all AA max300 with under 20 greats. "Elite" is not passing some 9 footer. That's "average" over here and in ca. Oh yeah, and the top 20 in the world (elite) can get under 10 greats on every 9 footer they play. Face it newbie, you're average.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and there is no "memorizing songs". If you memorize a song you can do it on stealth. People who are new to DDR think that there is some sort of memorization to a song, there isn't. Ver2 passed paranoia survivor max challenge(down down on heavy) IN THE LEGEND ROAD COURSE ( oni courses = 3 goods/boos/misses = FAILED ) ON HIS FIRST TRY, now THAT's elite.

EDIT EDIT: And Paranoia Survivor Max Challenge is the hardest ddr song hands down. 613 arrows, 643 max combo. It rivals slam on crazy (from pump it up) in difficulty. It's harder than any maxxxxx300bpm song.
