Hi there, people.

I discovered this website from another website somewhere by accident a few days ago. Now I've become hooked with the game enough to convince me to register this cool site. :)

One of my most favorite levels is "136.6" by Chuk & Gek (which, ironically, also happens to be the actual BPM of the song, too  ).

Now, for some little bit of confession... To tell you the truth, I never own a DDR pad. Nor even any Bermani titles. It's one of my biggest wishes to own a DDR pad and that dancing simulator game, but I can't, because "They're just too expensive!", my parents said. :P

I'm glad that this site finally gives me that experience I've once dreamed of. :) The experience may not be the same as DDR, but at least I've managed to at least get the feel of how DDR dancing is like, only with fingers instead of feet. :P

I have a little bit of shyness problem, and I don't know much about a lot of you people here yet  ... Please introduce me in an easy manner, okay? :)

I could help you with one of those problems.

The DDR simulator Dance With Intensity (http://dwi.claws-and-paws.com/)
The DDR simulator Stepmania (http://www.stepmania.com/stepmania/downloads.php)

Pick one, that way you could play other stepfiles. Plus you can get some for the FFR songs too.

Welcome to the boards!
Yeah, Bemani isn't a wallet-healthy habit. Your best bets are to obtain pads off of E-Bay and stick with purchasing the domestic DDR games. If you have a PSX/PS2, DDR (USA) and Konamix should be in the $19.99 range. It's not the greatest, but it's definately a start and definately DDR.
The simulators are great and can easily be set up to be playable with a pad using a USB connector. If you need to know sites to get files, check the Simulator File forum or post a question within that forum; we'll let you know where they are.
There's always arcade Bemani too. There are plenty of machine locators online so you could always find something there.

Hope you don't mind me using your thread for the same reason. I am very new to this forum and wanted to get everyone aquainted with my witty(moronic), Stylish (boring) and intelligent (shortsighted) posting. Name's Brandon, but I go by Drake, and I'm 17. I play DDR and anything like it, and I love forums. Hi and thanks all.
