That'd be abuse of mod powers. Especially since Barlog is the official name from the game, so even though your version may be what it should have been, you're wrong.

As soon as they fix the website I'll happily take on the correct spelling, but until they do, I have a reasonable reason to spell it otherwise.

Also it seems you and I differ greatly in our definition of abuse of mod powers. The way I see it is this: anything using mod powers that isn't needed to moderate the forums (ie editting peoples posts for no reason but the amusement of yourself and/or others) is abuse of mod powers.

It's the same as correcting spelling mistakes. I joke about doing it, but it's a possibility.

I always tell LD that he should let me edit his posts to make him sound more professional by fixing the spelling mistakes. Whether I would follow through with that is a totally different matter.

I have only edited one post in Media because the original post was a blatant flame and instead of deleting it, I wanted to be certain the user knew we didn't tolerate that kind of stuff. He ended up never coming back anyway, and I ended up deleting the post since it was offtopicing the discussion. All other edits are to combine double posts.
