Metal Gear Acid is more like a card game than a shooter in this on. pretty gay. Darkstalkers is more like a fighter in this one. Pretty un-gay.

Get Wipeout pure. You'll like that one by farrrrrr.

Well it depends what type of game you want. If you feel in a 2D fighting mode then go for that. It is a fun game but obviously it's for quick fights. You could go and unlock everything on all the modes if you wanted but you might get slightly bored at it.
Metal Gear Acid is the one for you if you enjoy long or short bursts of play as there is plenty of story time and you can always try collect all the cards when you are bored. This game is pretty much more stratigic but the long battles might bore you a bit.
I love both the games but it really all depends on your taste. IF your gonna look for a game which will keep you preoccupied for a while then go for metal gear acid.

I'd pick Darkstalkers over pretty much all PSP games, but for no reason besides the fact that I like Darkstalkers and I like cliche fighting games for some reason.

You do not want to play a game where cards dictate whether you can go up a ladder or not. Get the one that isn't MGS: Acid.

Like, for reals, if you do not have Lumines, you seriously need to buy it.

And, since I am an admin and a jerk who enjoys hi-jacking threads, what PSP game would you all recommend I purchase next. The only game I own is Lumines, and though the game kicks ass, there are times when I want to take a break from the mind-f*ck that is Lumines. So any suggestions?

If you want the PSP Web Browsing Hax I suggest you get WipEout PurE. One of the new FPS for PSP is Coded Arms. That game is addicting, and if you beat the game theres an infinity mode which the levels never end. But those games are my choice, and you don't have to buy them. But you should wait for better games. I heard Square Enix is making Final Fantasy for the PSP. And I might get that game. :)
