How do I make moving picture files

This maybe a tad noobish but how do you make moving picture files like .gif images.

Hey Shade. You would need a program that allows you to do this, the most common being a program called Image Ready, which comes with Adobe Photoshop. It allows you to make several frames (much like in Flash) which you can edit individually, and then it saves them as a moving picture file. If you google search I'm sure you can find many freeware programs that will allow you to do the same.

Yay, imageready. I did all my avatars in it, you can see them in that old challenges thread i made... too lazy to post location. I have to agree that imageready is the best for simple gifs.
