o_O mine is faster than that, i had 1.8 megabits, and a 1mb download takes an average of 7 seconds for me. That thing is slow compared to mine. I have a feeling the internet connection doesnt have much do deal with teh ability to get that score

as for sm, make sure you have the latest divx, and make sure all yer stuff matched the minimum requirements in the readme

No. How long you played DDR doesn't matter. Feet != hands. Your connection speed is likely slow or your computer reads the arrows slow.

Ok if the world's best stepmania player only played ffr for 1 day they'd still likely beat most/all of the highscores (besides cheated ones). Okay kiddies...enough of your speed-tests...I can network-install 2-3 gigs worth of RedHat Linux from a nonlocal server at an *average* speed of 10 MBytes a second. Also, the entire connection issue is irrelevant...your connection does not determine how fast FFR goes. The song downloads once (that's what the little meter counting up to a hundred is) and then it plays back locally. Any delays come from having a (relatively) slow computer that can't handle too many arrows onscreen at once.

As for Mikey, I think people have a right to challenge his scores, and it'd be convincing for those people if he showed an in-play movie, but given that his score isn't *impossible* like some of the ones on the hiscores, I'm inclined to think that it's legit. FFR is easy to get the hang of, and if you'd been playing DDR or SM for many months, it's quite possible to be good at it.
