I'm very sorry if this has already been mentioned, but just a hint that the highscore is bugged/hacked. Funny though, that 7 on the end.

Most of the high scores on Chrono Trigger are probably hacked. BrandonDurden is just a little less subtle about it.

It's impossible for a normally acquired score to end with anything save a 0 or 5. I think the same guy hacked Boss Machine once, too.
