I'm not even sure if this is the place to ask, but I'm afraid of pissing anyone off in any of the other forums.

This is where my brain shuts down completely and I begin jamming buttons. Anybody know of a good Simfile to help with rolls; or in this case simultaneous rolls. For the most part I can nail LDURUDLDURU... I'm still prone to missing them, but these simultaneous ones kill me.
Someone please point me in the right direction. Feels like I'm stuck at a point where songs are either too hard or too easy. Thanks.

Try switching the direction of your hands, if you're using index.
For example:
*L= Left index R = Right Index* *1 = <, 2 = /\, 3 = \/, 4 =>*
L,1 R,2 L,3 R,4 L,3 R,2, L,1
Ect. If you do it in slow motion, you can feel the rythmn. Hope this helps, but if you aren't using index, sorry. Don't know too much about any other styles.

Use a higher speed mod to spread out the arrows more. It won't feel natural at first, but you'll get used to it, and it'll make songs easier.
Also, what playing style do you use?

I was gonna say the same thing. It seems like the arrows arent spread out enough and you get a Brain Fart because you can't comprehend the patterns fast enough. Try using a CMod instead of a regular speed mod. either use C400 to get used to it, or edit your own speed mods (it's a Sticky in the Stepmania Forum)
Other than that, just hit the arrows in that order. All i can tell you without knowing your playing style.

If you need work with your reading, just play FFR more. FFR has some pretty good songs for reading like X-Dreamer and Stalled Out and Sushi Bars. Just play some more FFR, SM, or DDR to help you with your reading skills so that your brain doesn't fart as much.

Thanks for all the input, everyone. My playing style is right-handed: index on <, middle on ^, ring on >, and thumb on v.
I tried increasing the speed, but that only helped to a certain extent. Instead, I actually tried reducing the speed on other, easier songs. This proved to be a pretty difficult adjustment to make, and forced me to develop far more accuracy than I'm used to playing with. It's pretty ironic - slow down to speed up. We'll see how it turns out in a week.
Edit: After I B this song, I'm going two-handed. It should've been the first style I used, and I'm lucky that I'm so new - it won't be much of a curve ball changing my style at this point.

wow one handed 4 fingered? thats rare. No wonder you have a problem playing it lol i can't even imagine playing a song like that with that style. I suggest you go 2 handed, but its up to you. I cant make you choose a style, im just suggesting it. good thing about two handed is patterns come easier to you and u have more speed...so i dunno give it a shot.
