Many people play down, which is a reason why many people are upset with multi-player R1, there isn't one yet. Why would you want to play that way anyways.

IIDX and Pop'n scroll down, so people are likely used to that form of scrolling.

I personally felt that down is better than up the first day i joined FFR.
It's much easier to look at the arrows that way. That's how we learn fast.
Most up people learn slowly.(Most)

That's not true at all, but I too felt much more comfortable with reverse my first day of playing.

I play down because it feels more natural, like gravity and things falling down. Playing up just seems like reverse gravity, which is weird, like playing Tetris scrolling up.

IIDX and Pop'n scroll down, so people are likely used to that form of scrolling.

And DM, and KBM.

Up-scrolling games: DDR, PIU, Neon FM, ITG, PPP, DMX, GF

Down-scrolling: BM/IIDX/III, PNM, DM, KBM, O2jam, Djmax

Left-scrolling: Donkey Konga, Taiko no Tatsujin, KR

Right-scrolling: Parappa & variants

That game is sweet. We used to play in music class when I was in 5th grade. We also played Bop-It. And we got to record our own songs with recording equipment. My music teacher was so hardcore awesome. And on top of all that, he skateboarded and was in a rock band.

I'm a hardcore down player, and in the end it makes advancing much easier.
